Hi, my name is Catherine Silvester and I want to change my life.

Maybe  I  am seeking the impossible dream. After all, a 59 year old woman, 10 years divorced, offspring grown up and teaching small children in suburban South London looking for her Nirvana may appear somewhat foolish.

But I am past caring about what others may think. This is about the rest of my life and I intend to make it a reality.

However I don't want to travel alone which is why I am launching this website, in the hope that I might find, out there, a like-minded person who wishes to  escape the rat race and walk along with me.

So, what is my dream? Nothing too out of the ordinary, especially for someone at this point in her life. But for me, it will be extraordinary, exciting, fulfilling and ultimately paradise!

It will ideally be somewhere warm, with good light ,probably rural or semi-rural with beautiful scenery and possibly near the sea.The Alpujarras in Southern Spain call out to me, for example. Some self-sufficiency would be good maybe, love and friendship a necessity....the good life, I suppose.

Glamour and 'nightlife' don't interest me. I can work hard and  am willing to commit myself completely  to the right project and the right person.

I have spent most of my life bringing up or teaching children, was married for 25 years, danced, laughed, cried, talked and engrossed myself in literature, art and cinema amongst other things.

And now,I need to be free to spend a productive and happy future.
